Crayons, pencils, scissors, glue- you name it, you're gonna need it this school year.  And, you're gonna need a place to keep it all.  Last year I used a simple method to keep our school supplies in check, and it worked great!  Long gone, are the days of searching for pencils and fighting over dried up glue sticks.  Even you homeschool mamas can use this tip!

So, what do I use to organize my school supplies?  A hanging over-the-door shoe organizer!  Super easy, super cheap, and they come in cute colors.  I found mine in the "dorm" section at Target for $5.  Last year I labeled each pocket with an index card, but this year I decided to print labels instead.  The cards would fall out or get mixed around sometimes, so the label will work much better.  I printed mine on Avery 2" Round Labels.  You could also use a 2" round punch and just hot glue them on.

This set includes a label for- paint, tape, glue, clips, scissors, crayons, markers, pens, pencils, paint brushes, push pins and note pads.

Every year my feed is flooded with cute kids holding cute signs- and to be honest, it never gets old!  I love to see how much they have changed from the previous years.  These simple signs make the sweetest props- one for lil' miss sassy pants, and one that's perfect for the kindergartner in your life!  Let's face it, I cry every year.  This year I will have one in preschool and two in middle school- there will definitely be tears y'all!

This back-to school printable set also includes special lunch notes.  All of my kids love to receive them- even my teen boy!  It's a simple way to show them how much they are loved.  These are especially great for the first week, when lunchtime can be kinda scary for the little ones.  Seeing a note from home will brighten their day, and may even help break the ice with other class mates.  I like to keep a stash in the pantry, so I always have some on hand.  You can also grab my other set here.

Lastly, I have included a set of teacher gift tags.  I love to send a 1st day gift, and I have even done donuts for the whole school.  In my experience, teachers love flowers, food, gift cards and school supplies.  Teachers deserve so much praise, and most of them go above and beyond for our kids.  Giving them a small gift with a personal tag will show them how much you appreciate them.
